Patent-Backed Product Development: From Anti-Odor Floor Drains to Outdoor Shower Columns

Product development at our factory starts from practical problems buyers report in the field, and two of our patented designs show how that works.
The first is odor control in drainage. Our R&D team holds an invention patent for a floor drain that blocks sewer gas and opens and closes automatically by buoyancy — water pressure lifts the seal to drain, and the float drops back to close once flow stops. The design needs no replacement cartridges, which makes it popular with project contractors who want low-maintenance bathrooms in hotels and apartments.
The second is outdoor showering. Demand from European and North American buyers for poolside and garden showers led us to develop a freestanding outdoor shower column range in corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel. The base design, model ST8183, is protected by a design patent, and buyers can specify height, spray pattern, and base style for resort and residential projects.
Other patents in our portfolio cover a shower panel top spray structure, a shower design, and an automated grooving mechanism for thick-wall stainless steel parts — the last one improving the precision of our own production equipment.
As a national high-tech enterprise with an eleven-person R&D team, we keep a rolling pipeline of new products, and new designs are currently in development.
